Everyone on Twitter was alerted to the fact that frauds can target even Pokemon merchandise by the user @DyllonKG. For his acquaintance, the Twitter user purchased a tiny figure of Bulbasaur. The figurine arrived in the mail twenty days after he paid for it, and it had nothing in common with Bulbasaur.

Rather, the Twitter user was met with a smirking, hideous nightmare that appears strangely bashful. The purported Bulbsaur has been featured on numerous "Expectations vs. Reality" websites; yet, the source of his purchase remains unknown. Although the figurine is listed on Etsy, nearly every review is 5 stars, indicating that the maker of the figurine was probably the victim of an online scammer who took her photo and fled with it.
